Connie's First Photoshoot!

Meet Connie! She is 11 years old and I had thehonor of giving her her very first photoshoot! I met Connie through her "big sister" Suzanne. Suzanne is in the Big Sister program and Arlington. When I found out she was a big sister to an 11 year old girl, I jumped on the opportunity to photograph her! She was such a pleasure to be around and shehad a personality larger than life! She was so excited to have herportraits taken and Suzanne even jumped in a few! Connie and I showed Suzanne the ropes o
n how to do the Stanky Leg. :D Overall, we had a blast and now Connie has moments to last a lifetime!

Yasmeen's Senior Session

This is Yasmin. She is a graduating senior at Skyline High School in Dallas, TX. Yasmeen was a fantastic senior to shoot! She is a beautiful girl that is not afraid to get dirty and was more than willing to get down in the grass in a nice dress! I had so much fun in this session with all the jumping takes! We used a mini trampoline to get the perfect shot! It was the best $2 I've spent in my life!

You can sincerely see that she is thrilled to be graduating and ready to start the road towards college life! I loved this field of wild flowers that we used to shoot at. I think I have a new favorite location for portraits!

I was able to get some great studio shots as well in her cap and gown and do a cool composite with Jasmeen showing her soccer skills!

Isabel's Baby Session

This is Isabel. She is 3 1/2 months old with wonderful parents, Paula and Carlos.

Isabel was quite the little diva and a daddy's girl! She was a little cutie pie! Oh how I love the bebes!

The colorization effect was a hit in this session! I love doing this effect with babies! They always have something in a color that's up and poppin'!

I wanted to try something different with baby Isabel. Paula and I set her up with a "Baby Spa" setting, which fit perfectly with her personality! For this setting, we used baby baths, baby manicure supplies, baby bath robe, a basket, and of course, cucumbers! I was thrilled to hear that Paula already had all these supplies when I presented her with this idea! She is great!

I love doing this "Tiny Parts" composite with babies. I do this for ALL of my baby sessions. Its just so intimate and beautiful for the parents to have to remember their pride and joy. In fifteen years, they can always look back and think, "I can't be mad at this lil ol cute thing!"

With Isabel, I was able to capture her cute little faces. My favorites are the close-ups on the edges of this composite. The individuals of these are just lovely. I hope Paula will get them enlarged and set up in a square shape with bold black picture frames on a wall. They would look great in her room!

DECORATING TIP!- Closeups
look fabulous in Black and White printed 10x10 topped off in a bold frame. This crops of edges to solely focus on their face. Try it sometime!

Michelles Senior Session

This is Michelle! I shot her Senior Portraits yesterday, March 26 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was such a wonderful model to shoot! She was willing to do everything I asked her and more! She even climbed up some poles...willingly!

Her proms theme is "Alice in Wonderland". How cool is that? I wish my high school had a cool theme like that!

Michelle is just an absolutely gorgeous gal. She is a huge reader and a drama lover! I am just thrilled that I had the opportunity to get to capture her personality! My camera loved her and I definitely over shot! These are just SOME of my favs that I wanted to share!
